I've been raked!!!! Thank you Angela!
A beautiful RAK (actually 2 RAKs) came all the way from Singapore! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love absolutely everything and can't wait to use it in my new projects.
I am so sorry for posting this so late but I was so busy moving... Yep, I left the north and as of October 15th I am living on the beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It was a very long trip. I drove for about 40 hours with not much sleep... Now I'm in a new home and I'm so excited! Today finally I have an internet hooked up so I can do some updates. There is still tons of unpacking to do but I'm hoping for a little time to do some stitching.
So long my friends,
Evalina

I'm back!!!
Hello :)
Now that my stitching mojo has finally returned, I thought it would be fun to re-join this blog that I started back in 2012.
For those that don't already know me......my name is Angela from Hooked on Stitches. I've been stitching for just over 20 years and just taught myself to knit last December. I think I might be best known for my sewing box finishes! I love Blackbird Designs, Country Cottage Needleworks, Little House Needleworks, Lizzie*Kate, Blue Ribbon Designs and my new found love for Mirabilia/Nora Corbett Designs. I have big plans to stitch a whole wall of Mirabilia finishes, you can see my very first finish, Stargazer, on my blog now.
I would like to send out a RAK to someone interested. If anyone is interested then leave me a comment and I will use that random thingy to pick someone. Please indicate whether you would like a stitched item, a knitted item or either :) I'll announce my first RAK "victim" on August 16th.
Looking forward to being a part of the group again!
Edited **I just got some potentially bad news about my husband, will know more next week but i will have to put the first RAK on hold for a bit longer ** Thanks for understanding!

HOME
I AM GOING HOME TODAY! MY PLATELETS HAVE GONE UP TO 125,000 AND SHOULD CONTINUE TO RISE. Yes! There will be appointments for blood draws and checks. Chemo infusion once a week for a few weeks "no cancer remember". So later on today I'll be sitting out on our screened deck enjoying a cup of coffee with Bill and watching the birds again. Prayers are still welcomed and so appreciated. This was all in His plan for me. I've learned so much while here in the hospital and have so much to tell. God is good. Thank you all my sweet friends here! I love you all so
much for caring.

+++Update on LindaLee+++
Still in hospital and platelets on a "very slow" upswing which is goo. I have been on a chemo drug for 13 days now and another was added yesterday. This second one is infused and took about five hours. No bad effects from this second medication which I'll receive every eight days. Want to remind ya'll that I don't have cancer, praise the Lord. Just the fact that my platelets dropped dangerously low after my spleen removal is what has kept me here. My infusions of platelets have decreased though, so something positive is happening.
In the meantime, I am appreciating all prayers, and please keep them coming so that I may become well enough to go home. Love ya'll.

Hello Everyone!
Hello all. I'd like to introduce myself. Some of you know me already and I am really pleased to be part of this group.
My name is Hazel and my blog is Quietly Stitching. I am nearing the big 4 0 next year and have been stitching since I was 17. I started stitching around the same time that I became a Christian and so my faith is very important to me. I am married with two children, 11 and 6 years old and I live in the Peak District in Derbyshire in the UK. I went back to work as a secondary school teacher two years ago and I work in an independent Christian school where both my children attend (it has a primary attached). I really love my job but during term times it leaves little time for stitching and crafts. So I make good use of the holidays.
I have been stitching for a long time. I started out with cutesy Country Companions designs but then moved on very quickly to more elaborate designs like Mirabilia. Once I got started online with blogging and forums, the world of stitching really opened up and I began to find many designs that really appealed to me like samplers and reproduction samplers. I think these kind of designs really define me as a stitcher although I am not averse to the odd sparkly project now and again! I have been involved with many exchanges over the past few years and have often done RAKs and giveaways on my blog. In fact I am having a giveaway on my blog right now. This has been a wonderful opportunity to get to know fellow stitchers from across the globe and I am looking forward to getting to know some of you too and sending a few RAKs out.
My favourite designers would include (but not limited to) Blackbird Designs, Carriage House Samplings, Heartstrings Samplery, LHN, CCN, Lizzie*Kate, The Sampler Girl amongst many others. I have just ordered my first My Big Toe designs chart as I love the scriptures on them so will see how that goes. I have also just signed up for the autoship of the new CCN ornies due to start soon. I love most things and autumn is my favourite season esp the colours but I don't like halloween designs or anything "witchy" or horoscopes. I love hand dyed fabrics in natural/subtle shades and also hand dyed threads. I am hoping to try my hand at hardanger soon as well.
Well that's a little about me. I am going to be having a little browse around your blogs and posts and try and get a feel for how this works. Look forward to RAKing some of you soon.

An Update on Surgery
Linda's update as of 7/29. It has turned into a 22 day stay in the hospital, rather than the expected two day stay. Complications with the results of the platelets not being maintained in my system. Should be at least 320,000 and mine have been as low as 800. I'm on lots of very strong meds including a low dose chemo "This type used for blood disorders. Not cancer." and a very high dose of strong steroids to try to get this taken care of. We have hit very low points emotionally and have been extremely elated at other times with every bit of hope or good news. I'm fighting this battle and will continue to. I can see God's hands in this whole thing, and can tell you that He is still indeed good all the time. He is still performing miracles right here in this very hospital. When it comes to knowing Him, there are no options indeed. It's a must. I thank all for the continued prayers and loving thoughts. "Don't quit now please." Phone calls also. Thank you. I find that I become quite confused and tired and just have to sleep or nap here and there when I can. I do love you all though and hope to be back in full swing one day.

Surprise Post delivery
I have been gifted by Cucki....
Cucki tells me she made the doily, the tea cup pincushion and a tissue holder for my purse. Then she also sent a giraffe printed pencil. It sound like a mini drum when you twirl it...the tiny shells! I love all the stamps on the package too. Thank my dear sweet friend.

Don't give up on me ladies
I'm back in the hospital again and will be having my spleen removed in the next day or two. Will be glad when I can go back home and begin the healing process. I so want to get involved with the giving of these lovely gifts and packages. I'll be back soon. LindaLee
RAK from Mii!!
On Friday, my husband called me from home to say I had a package. A package? I didn't order anything yet why would I have a package? When I got home, a lovely little package all the way from England found it's way to me from Mii!! I opened it up and was so amazed at the beautiful and perfectly finished pinkeep she made for me. It's now hanging in a place where I can look at it while stitching. She also included some lovely polka dot fabric, my favourite kind of print, and some threads. It came at perfect time for me since I've had a hard and stressful few months so it truly cheered me up. As the saying goes, and I believe it will happen, "Good things come to those who stitch!" Indeed it does dear Mii!!
Big hugs to you my dear for brightening my week!!

Sweet June and Pics!
My sweet friend, June, had let me know back in April that there would be something coming for my birthday. She gifted me with yet another one of her beautifully stitched and finished pieces.
Isn't it beautiful! I will write more on a blog post as to why this piece touched me so!
And, I finally spent some time uploading pictures, so I can show you what Julie surprised me with the other week!
Thanks again to both of you for brightening my days! When things settle down around here, I plan on passing along some smiles!

OMG, I was RAKed!!!
Thanks to Bianca my life got a little brighter today. In about a month I'm having a 'big' birthday and I am sooo depressed. Last time I was in that state of mind after I turned forty. It took me six months or so to get back to normal. Now almost twenty years later it hit me way before the big day... I have no idea why it's affecting me so much...
Look what dear Bianca send to me:
I'm so excited and already started to kit up this project. It should keep me 'out of trouble' for a while...

Heaven and Earth Designs
I thought I'd try something new for my next RAK. I haven't seen anyone post about these yet on this group, but I thought I'd give it a try anyhow. Do you like to stitch Heaven and Earth Designs? Maybe you have never tried one, but you've wanted to try one of those huge but beautiful charts. If this is you, leave a comment with the name of the chart you would like to stitch and it might end up in your inbox :)

Hello everyone.
Hello all,
I am Julie. C from My knit Sew Craft Corner I am happy to be here and look forward to new friendships and sharing our love of gift making. I have to say I am late with the introduction as I think I lost my link to be able to log in as a member on this blog and dear Evalina sent me another.
I am here now and I am also pleased my first parcel arrived safely.
Well a little about me I am a mother with 2 grown children and I have one Granddaugher I Love knittting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, and a little patchwork(beginner) I have been knitting for over 40+ years now and taught myself to crochet in the last 2 years. I like to cross stitch and I embroider more at the moment I have always liked Jane Greenoff patterns and Lesley Teare, I adore the designs from The Little Stitcher and The Primitive Hare.
I have made a few of my own cross stitch motifs and I like to combine these with my knitting or crochet and make them into pin cushions or pin keeps. But that is enough of me now I am rambling on.
Enjoy your week everyone.

Thank you Heather
I had a lovely surprise when I opened the door to the postman on Tuesday, there was something there for me and it wasn't a bill. When I opened the envelope and saw that it was a RAK from Heather I was even more surprised so thank you Heather for making my day it was really kind of you.
Heather's gift was a LHN threadpack Blueberries and a CCN Morning Song as well as some needles, so thank you once again Heather I can't wait to get started.
Hi everyone!
Hi everyone, my name is Lynn, some of you will know me from my blog Happiness Is Cross Stitching,
I am so glad to be here and looking forward to sending a surprise or two out to an unsuspecting member.
I have been cross stitching for over 25 years now and I just love it, I don't think there is ever a day goes by where I do not have needle and thread in hand.
I know quite a few of you from reading blogs, however I must admit I am very lazy at commenting so I like to give back to readers by doing giveaways occasionally and I also thought it would be nice to do a RAK or two, (or three or four!) for someone on this blog.
My latest finish is this gorgeous design that I stitched for my sister many years ago and only just got around to stitching it for myself, the pattern will be vintage now and I know it is out of print but I never tired of looking at it on my sisters wall, I can't believe it was in the 90's when I first stitched this.
I love Little House Needlework, Country Cottage Needleworks, Mirabillia and Sue Hillis Designs, Victoria Sampler and The Sweetheart Tree. My favourite colour is pink and I also love pastel shades of lilac, green and blue but I also love bright colours too, particularly in kitchen designs like the one below.

LindaLee's New Blog
Just wanted to let ya'll know that I couldn't get into my "nearly" four year old blog, "Cross'N My Stitches". I tried a number of things and then finally, abandoned it. My biggest regret is that I had so many dear friends and followers, and I hated letting them down. I'm hoping that they will all find me and join my new blog site. My new one is, "Love'N My Stitches" and can be found at
http://lovenmystitches.blogspot.com/. Please come and join me.
I am getting some things together and once I have a pretty box all full, I'll be drawing another name to send it out to. I know I haven't been here long, but I do love you ladies and enjoy making someone's day.
Want to see some spring? You know how I love colors. I really do believe that if you love colors, you can feel them! A picture to leave you with.
Until next time, be safe and well and don't forget to "Feel the colors".

Hello everyone and thank you Evalina for allowing me to join your blog. I recently had a giveaway on my blog Justine's Cross Stitch and enjoyed putting the prize together very much. I was pleased to come across this group and am looking forward to sending out some RAKs soon!
I've been stitching since I was 16 (I'm 42 now) but only discovered blogs last year. I really enjoy having other stitchers who "get it" to share with, and love being inspired by what everyone else is working on. I think this is a lovely idea and a great way of spreading happiness!
I think I "know" quite a few of you through blogging, and look forward to making new blogging friends.

RAKs Are Ready To Go...
My first RAKs for 2014 are ready for mailing and will be on way to two unsuspecting members I hope you enjoy receiving them as much as I enjoyed putting it all together.
I'm not going to post a photo of everything but here's a little peek at some of the things I have put together. A little stitching does go a long way.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

The Royal Mail brought me a wonderful package from June. It came couple of weeks ago or so and I'm really sorry I'm posting so late. To make a long story short - my life stopped for a while, thankfully I'm almost back to normal... here are the goodies from June
Thank you so much dear June, I love absolutely everything!
So long my friends,
